The VERO Musketeer nutcracker came in two color schemes, one with a blue coat and one with a drab light green coat. There was also a smaller 9-inch version.

The Musketeer is the only VERO nutcracker I've seen which has real hair, possibly human, for its mustache and eyebrows.

The mustache is made from bundled hair with some sort of sizing to make it keep its shape. The eyebrows are flattened hair stitched to a backing and cut to shape.

This 13-inch example had the usual loose joints. It was missing its feet and sword as well as paint in several places. I copied the feet from other VERO nutcrackers and the sword from images from the Web.
