No East German nutcracker collection can be complete without at least one Miner (Bergmann). With several, you can have your own Bergparade.

This 13 7/8-inch HoDreWa Miner was missing its ceremonial axe (bergbarte) and its sword. It was also missing paint in a few places.

The sword was copied from images of the currently available Hodrewa Legler Miner nutcrackers. The axe was made to approximate one style of actual bergbarte. It's unlikely that either of these are similar to what originally came with this nutcracker. When/if I find out what these accessories looked like, I'll change them and update this page.
