This 11 5/8-inch Gahlenz Grenadier nutcracker was missing its sword. Its musket was detached and twisted in the sword carriage.

I had a sword from an unknown nutcracker. It was similar to but not exactly like the original. Since I believe it came from a German nutcracker, I decided it was preferable to one I could make.

The musket was renailed to its original position and this was one of the easiest restorations I've done.
